“FOUR SEASONS OF FILM” MAKES JUMP TO SMALL SCREEN, POPULAR AUDIO PODCAST, NOW VIDEO, DEBUTS DEC. 6, EXCLUSIVELY ON VIMEO
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 30, 2018— The fearless observers of cinema and eternal champions of independent filmmakers everywhere continue their creative journey next month by making the jump to the small screen. Celebrating 5 years of pioneering roundtable discussions with their audio podcast (of same name), filmmakers Nathan Robert Blackburn, Scotty Brown, and sidekick Andydrogynous have now gone visual with their show. FOUR SEASONS OF FILM debuts THURSDAY, DEC. 6, exclusively on VIMEO.
The bimonthly show will also be available on YouTube, iTunes, Twitter, Facebook, fourseasonsoffilm.com and partner’s streaming platforms.
FOUR SEASONS OF FILM allows Nathan Robert Blackburn and Scotty Brown to offer their unique perspectives on cinema, which highlights Theatrical and Streaming releases. The show also features roundtable discussion, digital shorts, and creative segments providing insights on contemporary issues within the Hollywood system. Filmed LIVE on location in the San Francisco Bay Area, viewers can also witness the “making-of” a television show in real time with behind-the-scenes footage as a feature of each episode. The show’s documentary style takes its cues from the hosts’ experiences in the world of independent film where anything can happen, everyone is part of the show, and nothing is off limits. Due to its comical nature, test audiences have described the show as Curb Your Enthusiasm meets Saturday Night Live.
Nathan Robert Blackburn, Scotty Brown, and Andydrogynous are award-winning independent filmmakers having produced projects together since 2003. The trio has been featured at the Sundance Film Festival, San Francisco IndieFest, and by Moviemaker Magazine whereupon Tim Rhys (Editor-in-Chief/Publisher) described FOUR SEASONS OF FILM as “an inspiration”.
FOUR SEASONS OF FILM is executive produced by Nathan Robert Blackburn, Scotty Brown, Andrew Pesa, and Julie Blackburn.
Four Seasons of Film is an entertainment company owned by I Hope So Productions, LLC dedicated to the education and preservation of the motion picture industry.
